FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino has promised to release new video that will ‘debunk’ conspiracy theories that Jeffrey Epstein was murdered in his jail cell — insisting “no one was there but him” at the time of his suicide.

Bongino told Fox & Friends: “There’s video clear as day. He’s the only person in there and the only person coming out. You can see it.”

“There is video and when you look at the video — and we will release it, we’re working on cleaning it up to make sure you have an enhanced – and we will give the original so you don’t think there are any shenanigans – you will see no one in there but him. There’s just nobody there.”

“I say to people of the time — if you have a tip, let us know — but there is no DNA, there’s no audio, there’s no fingerprints, there’s no suspects, there’s no accomplices, there’s no tips. There is nothing. If you have it, I’m happy to see it.”

Which seems a bit odd, given that the initial information we received was that jail CCTV from the night had been erased by ‘technical errors’ (BBC), that two prison guards had fallen asleep at the time of his death (Guardian), and that two broken cameras were found outside his cell (Reuters). Six years later, how have they managed to find ‘clear as day’ video evidence that Epstein killed himself?

We would be remiss to mention that AI video has progressed in leaps and bounds since 2019, but surely they wouldn’t be cheeky enough to try and pull that trick on us in 2025?

I guess we should give the FBI the benefit of the doubt for now and see what they come up with when this footage is released. Who knows – it may actually be an 100% real video where Epstein looks directly into the camera before he hangs himself and admits he’s never met Donald Trump, never worked with Mossad, and that there’s really nothing more to the Epstein client list than we’ve already seen. It’s entirely possible!

FBI Director Kash Patel has also been busy trying to convince people that Epstein’s death was 100% a suicide: “I have reviewed the case. Jeffrey Epstein killed himself. There’s no evidence in the case file indicating otherwise.”

“As someone who has worked as a public defender, as a prosecutor, who’s been in that prison system, who’s been in the Metropolitan Detention Center, who’s been in segregated housing, you know a suicide when you see one, and that’s what that was.”

Indeed, after Epstein’s death, a medical examiner ruled it was a suicide. However, Epstein’s family later hired famed forensic pathologist Michael Baden, who concluded that based on the evidence, a murder was far more probable.

Authorities claimed Epstein had attempted suicide about three weeks prior to his death. He was then put on suicide watch, but taken off it before his lifeless body was discovered with a bedsheet around his neck on August 10, 2019.

Over to you, FBI…
