2) Spatula
Of all of the kitchen implements on offer the spatula has to be pretty low on the list of potential weapons. But not everyone feels the same way, in particular a woman from Salt Lake City, Utah called Angeles Cadillo-Castro. In 2010 she was found guilty of bludgeoning her 5-year-old to death with a stainless steel spatula. Here she is with her husband:
Note to future murderers: as you might imagine the spatula is pretty inefficient at killing. This poor little girl was beaten for as long as an hour and eventually died from loss of blood rather than the impact of the pathetic spatula.
3) Toilet
Marvin Hill and his mistress Christina Eubanks were having a rabid affair. Hill decided to break the relationship off and Eubanks went nuts. During the ensuing argument Hill stopped mending the toilet, lifted the lid of the water tank off and smashed Eubanks brains in and dumped her body in a creek. Here’s the “weapon”:
Or… the version of events from the Assistant District Attorney General Takisha Fitzgerald goes slightly differently. She says that Hill turned up with a stun gun to rape Eubanks. Eubanks woke up during the ordeal and that’s when Hill took the toilet to her. Here he is looking upset:
We will never know what actually went down that day but either way, Hill is now serving a life sentence (he also got charged with abusing a corpse interestingly enough).
