It’s a turd, no? Yes, there’s nothing else that could be is surely. Someone in Brazil commissioned someone to build a massive poo statue. I mean, in reality that can’t be what actually happened can it? Well, stranger things have happened at sea. It’s also a turd fountain BTW.

I had a bit of a look and it turns out the turd is actually a representation of the Araucaria pine, a tree species native to Brazil. Now, I’ve looked at a picture of the tree in question and it looks like a normal pine tree, not a jobby on a stick. I think this proves that there’s at least one sculptor in Brazil that’s in the wrong profession.

NEWS: Here’s the latest on the massive poo, now I got this from a translated page so the deets are sketchy but apparently it got a bee infestation, then caught on fire. Yup. Even God hates it. Here’s the intrepid fire brigade dousing the faecal matter. It has now sadly been demolished.
