A teacher over in (you guessed it) Florida was fired recently after sending her students home with a rather questionable homework assignment.

The homework, which was handed to kids at Fox Chapel Middle School, asked students to rate a series of hypothetical scenarios on a scale of how uncomfortable it makes them feel.

The scenarios included:

A group of black men are walking towards you on the street.

The young man sitting next to you on the plane is Arab.

A friend invites you to a gay bar.

Predictably, the parents and their kids all complained, calling it “racist” and “offensive”. 12-year-old Tori Drews said:

I thought it was very inappropriate. I thought some of them were racist. I thought some of them were sexist.

Kids were asking if they could share it with their parents. She was like, ‘No. Don’t show your mom. Don’t take that home. I’m taking it back up.’

Well, looks like they shared it anyway and now she’s out of a job. This teacher sounds like she’s got some serious issues with more or less every group of people on the planet. This was probably her way of testing if she was the only person feeling this way. Yes lady, you are.
