Photographer Nicolas Bruno has suffered from sleep paralysis since he was 15 and is now using his nightmares and visions to create surreal and conceptual photography.

If you’ve ever experienced sleep paralysis, you’ll know how freaky and terrifying it can be. You wake up completely immobilised, with no way of calling for help, while mad hallucinations occur all around you. Sounds kind of cool in theory, but the reality is completely opposite.

19-year-old photographer Nicolas Bruno has suffered from sleep paralysis since he was 15 — and is now using his nightmares and visions to create surreal and conceptual photography.

Note that all he’s using is his camera, two lenses, a remote and tripod. Impressive:
