A down-and-out OJ Simpson has lost the will to live and has gone on hunger strike in prison.
Simpson told a friend: “They ain’t ever going to let me out of here: I’m not going to eat, and I won’t let docs at the prison revive me in any way. I will fight it. I used to live my way, and now, I’m going to die my way.”
66-year-old Simpson has four kids (45, 43, 28 and 25) who will inherit his fortune — he literally has millions of dollars that have accumulated in his NFL pension account since he’s been in prison, but no one’s been allowed to touch it. This could be another reason why he wants to speed up his death although a 33-year prison sentence would be sufficient reason enough I suppose.
Simpson famously got away with murdering his ex-wife Nicole Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman in 1994, but wound up behind bars anyway after a 2008 conviction for the kidnapping and armed robbery of two sports memorabilia dealers – Simpson was trying to retrieve items he believed belonged to him.
So is this karma at its finest or do you feel bad for the successful millionaire pro athlete/actor who murdered his wife, got away with it, then went out and pushed his luck in the worst way once more? Gotta be smarter than that OJ.
