Towards the end of last year, there was a fairly bizarre conspiracy theory floating around the internet which broadly became known as the Pizzagate scandal. The theory purports that a sophisticated paedophile ring involving people at the highest levels of the Democratic party, including Hillary Clinton, is operating out of Washington pizza restaurant Comet Ping Pong.

This came after James Alefantis, owner Comet Ping Pong, appeared in a series of emails with former chairman of the Hilary Clinton presidential campaign, John Podesta, that were published by WikiLeaks. Out of this, a conspiracy theory was born and although it appears to be fabricated, thousands of people are convinced that this horrific atrocity is the absolute truth.

And recently, another unlikely source seems to have thrown more evidence into the mix with the emergence of a pizza card in a popular Illuminati based card game. A Wisconsin activist named Tim O’ Keefe was playing the conspiracy based game when he noticed a pizza card that indicated a secret meeting:

I was looking through the infamous Illuminati cards, and I thought I’d see if there was anything pizza related for pizza gate… Lo and behold.

Well, I suppose it is just another coincidence, but it’s kind of a big one when you think that all of those pizza related emails might be codewords for secret meetings. Seems a bit too convenient doesn’t it, although it’s kind of crazy that the makers of this card game would know about Pizzagate before it even happened. Or maybe it was even going on way back when they made it… you never know.
