A company called Bazar has been selling a leather bag created by Spanish designer Balenciaga for £975, despite the fact that it literally looks like a laundry holdall. I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, fashion-heads are dumb mother fuckers.
Apparently the bag has caused quite a stir in the fashion world ever since it went on sale earlier this month. Probably because people are actually willing to pay decent money for a washing bag. So dumb.
This isn’t the first time something like this has happened either. Several years back, a regular plastic carrier bag was redesigned by designer Jil Sander and was selling for £90. Not as bad as £1,000 but considering it literally was designed on a throwaway piece of plastic, still a huge waste of money.
