‘Deadpool 3’ Is Already In The Works And It’s Going To Assemble X-Force

Following the success of the ‘Deadpool’ movie when it was released earlier this year, it was no real surprise when a sequel was announced. It might come as a shock though that Fox are already one step ahead of that and are full on working on a third movie in the franchise too.

Readers of the comic book will know that Deadpool (and Cable, who’s scheduled to appear in the next movie) have a long history with the group of heroes known as X-Force, and the third movie will see the gang being assembled for the first time in the movie universe. The Hollywood Reporter has all but confirmed this is going down, and with Ryan Reynolds saying that X-Force was absolutely a priority, then it seems like it’s set in stone. It’s going to be R-Rated too, which perfectly suits the X-Force franchise because you know, they’re killing people all the time over there.

There are no rumours on the plot of the movie yet, but there are some murmurings about which mutants would be in the squad – it’s looking like it’s going to be Colossus, Psylocke, Archangel, and Cable joining Deadpool to form X Force. That makes a lot of sense considering Cable and Colossus have already been in Deadpool movies (or will have been by the time this comes out), and Psylocke and Archangel are badass murderers too. Olivia Munn seems like she’s totally up for it too, having been quoted in the past saying:

It would definitely be cool to see Deadpool and some of the other X-Men characters gather for an X-Force movie.

Yep, if she’s down too then I would say this is almost certainly happening, although we’re probably not going to see it for another four or five years or something so don’t get too excited. In the meantime, you can check out this ‘Deadpool’ advertisement telling you to check for testicular cancer. What a hero.
