Prince was found dead at his recording studio this morning at his compound in Chanhassen, Minnesota.

The discovery comes just days after he cancelled tour dates due to an illness. He had reportedly forced his private jet to make an emergency landing on April 15th in Illinois because of a bad case of the flu. He was briefly hospitalised before returning to the studio.

However, the Carver County Sheriff’s department received an emergency call this morning before arriving to find the singer dead at the age of 57. It is unknown what the cause of death is as of yet.
