I remember we first blogged about Vitaly way back in 2013, and since then he’s gone on to become one of the most infamous YouTubers out there and has become a millionaire off the back of his pranks, livestreams, and predator-catching videos.

Most recently, Vitaly went over to the Philippines to do some live-streaming and ended up committing a few crimes in the process; including theft, harassment and disturbing the peace. Here are a few examples of what he got up to:

Wow, what an idiot. The best part of his Philippines adventure though was when a fellow Westerner gave him an incredible dressing down in the middle of the street and warned him to stop being such a prat and to stop disrespecting the locals:

Looks like Vitaly did not heed that man’s advice, and he’s now set to pay the ultimate price after being arrested by the Philippines National Police. Amazingly, the courts there have decided not to simply deport Vitaly, but keep him trapped in the country in a hot, crowded, dangerous jail for 2 – 3 YEARS until his trial, where he’ll then be sentenced and probably spend even more time in prison.

Why such a harsh punishment? Well, turns out they want to warn off any other foreigners/YouTubers from acting like idiots in the Philippines, and who better to make an example out of than one of the word’s most notorious streamers in Vitaly.

Here’s how seriously he’s taking it all, for what it’s worth:

Obviously authorities have all the evidence they need given that Vitaly filmed himself breaking all these laws and acting like a complete clown. On the lengthy rap sheet, allegations include attempting to kiss and grab a security guard, harassing an old woman, vlogging without a permit, attempting to seize a firearm, and more.

The fact he profited from all this by streaming it live means it could lead to aggravated charges which will punish him more severely. The maddest part is he won’t even know for sure how long he’ll spend in jail in the Philippines for another 2 – 3 years when they decide to take him to trial. Seems they’re in no rush whatsoever and just want the guy to suffer.

Meanwhile over in neighbouring South Korea, fellow streamer Johnny Somali is also facing guaranteed prison time for being arguably even more of a d1ck than Vitaly was in the Philippines. These Asian countries are not messing about, it seems.
