Fascinating footage of a drunk driver trying to avoid arrest by playing every “woke” card in the book is going viral, and it really has to be seen to be believed.

After being pulled over, the driver can’t stop reminding the police officer that they’re indigenous, non-binary, socially anxious, have generational trauma, and are scared of white people/police, all in hopes that he’ll sympathise and let them go free:

“I have anxiety”
“I’m indigenous”
“I’m non-binary”

Incredible. My favourite part has to be when she tells the cop “you’re being a white man”, especially after he was being so nice to them. Well, aside from the constant misgendering, I suppose.

I’m not sure what this drunk driver expected really? That the police officer would let them off for breaking the law and putting lives in danger, just because they say they’re indigenous and non-binary? If only that was how police interactions worked…
