Thoughts and prayers are in order for Emmy-nominated ‘Euphoria’ star Sydney Sweeney as she revealed in a recent interview that she was barely able to afford a home in Los Angeles, explaining that Hollywood “does not pay actors like they used to.”

Sweeney told The Hollywood Reporter:

“If I wanted to take a six-month break, I don’t have income to cover that. I don’t have someone supporting me, I don’t have anyone I can turn to, to pay my bills or call for help.

They don’t pay actors like they used to, and with streamers, you no longer get residuals. The established stars still get paid, but I have to give 5 percent to my lawyer, 10 percent to my agents, 3 percent or something like that to my business manager. I have to pay my publicist every month, and that’s more than my mortgage.”

She explained that she MUST take ad deals to supplement her income, no ifs, buts or maybes:

“If I just acted, I wouldn’t be able to afford my life in L.A. I take deals because I have to.”

What, you think Sydney Sweeney wants to work for Armani? You think she enjoys travelling and being paid millions to model worldwide?

Of course not!

It only gets worse for Sydney. Her house in Los Angeles? Worth a paltry $3 million. Imagine being 24 years old and living in a house worth $3 million? Embarrassing tbh.

“I couldn’t believe I was even able to buy a house. I want to be able to stay there.”

Welp, I guess there’s always OnlyFans? Clearly being one of the brightest young actresses in Hollywood doesn’t pay as much as Sydney Sweeney would like. Just goes to show that no matter who you are or how much you get paid, you’ll always want more. Like obviously Sydney Sweeney makes more money than 99% of people alive, but in her tiny Hollywood bubble she feels like she’s struggling. According to Elle Magazine, Sweeney is worth $4 million and made $350k for season 2 of ‘Euphoria’, but that’s probably peanuts compared to what HBO made off the show.

Come on HBO, time to triple or maybe even quadruple Sydney’s salary! She could barely scrape together enough pennies to afford a $3 million house and now you won’t even let her take 6 months off work to lay around in it? Have some compassion! Give her the 7 figures she deserves!

For the time Sydney’s grandparents said she had the ‘best tits in Hollywood’, click HERE. Not sure there’s much debate to be had there.
