Stone Cold Steve Austin has confirmed that he turned down $1 million to dress up as a PRIME bottle at Wrestlemania, and actually seemed annoyed that Logan Paul had made their negotiations public.

Stone Cold was chatting to Ariel Helwani who asked him whether it was true, after Logan Paul had brought it up on his own podcast:

“If he said that, I’m not gonna call him a liar. I just kinda thought that was personal business. Since it’s out there, yeah, I turned it down. I’m in the beer business. I don’t know anything about his product. I don’t know about the ingredients in it, if it’s good, if it’s bad, or whatever. It wasn’t my thing. Yeah, I turned it down because I wasn’t into it. It’s no disrespect to him or his product.

“It’s not my gimmick. He’s doing really well. He’s hustling and going and getting it, more power to him. It wasn’t a great fit for Steve Austin.”

What a legend. $1 million is a f*ck ton of money, but clearly it’s not enough for The Texas Rattlesnake to sell himself out and walk around as a PRIME mascot on the most-watched wrestling event of the year.

Can you imagine how sad and upsetting that would have been for all of us who grew up watching Stone Cold in the Attitude Era? All the aura and respect he’d built up over the years would have disappeared in an instant, and for what? Well, for one million dollars, but even that’s not going to tempt a guy like Stone Cold into making a prat of himself.

Come to think of it, it’s crazy that Logan Paul even thought about offering this deal to him? Was he going to have him chug PRIME drinks instead of beers as well? I’m not sure I can even think of a more devastating ‘childhood ruined’ moment than that.

The only way it might’ve worked is if Stone Cold rolled into the ring dressed as a PRIME bottle and gave Logan Paul the Stone Cold Stunner to cost him his much with AJ Styles. That might’ve been pretty cool actually. Maybe next year…
