Nice little payout on the way for this lad over in Jacksonville, Florida, after a police officer smashed his window, smacked him in the face, then pulled him out of his vehicle and punched him in the head for no good reason at all.
Posting under the handle @904will, the man shows how he was pulled over for not having headlights on in daylight, and how things escalated from there:

Well, that was just a tad excessive, don’t you think? At worst, this kid was just being a little irritating by asking the officers a load of questions, but at no point did he do anything that warranted that reaction. You can’t be punching people in the head if they’re not physically resisting, can you?
@904will says he suffered ‘a chipped tooth and nine plus stitches’ in his lips, plus ‘a concussion and short term memory loss’ from the assault. He’s also added that it’s been ‘very hard’ on his mental health. Which is exactly what anyone with any sense would be saying in a situation like this because he’s potentially looking at hundreds of thousands of dollars in compensation here.
Jacksonville Sheriff T.K. Waters said in a statement that an internal investigation has been launched:
‘We are aware of a video circulating on social media showing a traffic stop represented to be from February 19, 2025.
‘We have launched an internal investigation into it and the circumstances surrounding this incident.
‘We hold our officers to the highest standards and are committed to thoroughly determining exactly what occurred.’
Wonder how the officers will try to justify their use of excessive force? Maybe they’ll say that they were scared for their lives, or something. Quids in for 904will, I reckon.
