Unfortunate moment for up-and-coming singer/songwriter D4vd as he performed the opening set in front of thousands of people at Coachella the other night.

It was all going pretty well for the 20-year-old until he decided he would try to pull off a back flip on stage, and ended up brutally face-planting in front of everyone:

Brutal stuff. Just imagine putting on a show in front of thousands of people who are lapping up your tunes, only to then completely lose your aura in a matter of seconds by pulling off the most botched back flip attempt of all time. I don’t think there was one single moment during that move that anyone thought he was actually going to nail it? Maybe it was the shoes or the height of the platform or the fact his legs were still running after he came off the ground, but it was just a bad idea from the beginning.

On the bright side, there’s no way D4vd would be going viral at the moment if he hadn’t obliterated himself in front of thousands of people and millions more watching on the internet, so I guess he can chalk this up as a W in the grand scheme of things. Onwards and upwards!
