Everyone Thinks That Bobby Madley Has Quit Refereeing Because Of A Video Of Him Shagging A Dog

I didn’t think there was much going on when I saw the headline that Premier League referee Bobby Madley had quit refereeing – another referee quits, who cares – but then I got a hot tip from one of my mates (shout out King Kong) and looked into it a bit more and wow – I did not see that coming. We might be able to see Bobby Madley coming all over a dog if we can track down the video though.

Maybe that was a bit too soon, but whilst the FA and all reputable news sources are stating that Madley has quit refereeing because of ‘a change in personal circumstances’ if you go on Twitter to find out what’s really going down then you instantly see a bunch of tweets like this:

Brutal. I want to say that I had a quick look to try and track the video down – for er, research purposes obviously – but I couldn’t actually find anything, so I have no idea if there’s any truth in these rumours or not. Despite the mob mentality though, these things don’t normally catch a head of steam so quickly unless someone has seen them – there’s no smoke without fire eh? – so I’m kinda inclined to believe that it’s true. Only time will tell I suppose.

I don’t really think that Bobby Madley retiring from refereeing and moving towns is going to save him from being referred to as a dog shagger for the rest of his life though. Even if he isn’t one that tag’s gonna forever now. Sorry pal.
