Piers Morgan Uncensored is always near-impossible to follow because everyone is just shouting over each other all the time, but there was a controversial moment on the show last night when Piers Morgan asked self-proclaimed racist Lilly Gaddis, a ‘cultural commentator’, to say the N-word on air. Here’s how that played out:

Well, fair enough really. Activist Marc Lamont-Hill could appreciate what Piers was trying to do there but in no way was going to let this woman say the N-word in front of him, no matter how much Piers wanted her to. Not that she necessary was going to say it on camera, but she did admit earlier in the program she uses the N-word in her personal life whenever she deems it appropriate. No, seriously, watch for yourself:

Piers Morgan went off on Lily Gaddis and called her a despicable racist because she admits to using the n word.

The panel in general was quite the motley crew, with the only other black guest (Myron Gaines) defending Lily Gaddis’s right to say the N-word. In fact, in the clip where Piers asks her to say the N-word, Gaines uses a fake gun to shoot out a red flag that has the N-word emblazoned on the front. What a guy.
