Peter Hitchens has stormed off the Cosmic Skeptic podcast after taking a dislike to host Alex O’Connor (which he makes abundantly clear), who wouldn’t stop asking him about drugs. Full interview at the bottom of this post, but here’s the bit where he walks out and has a go at Alex:

“I don’t like you … I really don’t like you. I really have decided in the past hour I really do not like you at all. I had no opinions of you before, and now I actively dislike you.”

Welp, you’d think the guy who wrote a whole book about drugs would be happy to talk about the topic at length, but I guess he thought they were going round in circles and that he’d been tricked into talking about the topic for way longer than he was happy to. Pretty amazing that he thought there was even the tiniest chance that O’Connor wouldn’t share the footage online when he’s just handed him viral gold on a platter.

Anyway, here’s the full conversation. Did Hitchens have a point or is he just a bit of a kn0bhead? Maybe if they’d shared a joint during the interview things would have went more smoothly…
