TikTok is an absolute minefield of surreal niche communities that you wouldn’t even imagine existed, but I don’t think I’ve ever come across anything as weird as these NPC fetish videos where young women are being paid to act and talk like generic video game characters.

Apparently what’s happening is: she’s doing the sounds of the stickers that are being sent to her live, like that “ice cream, so good!” because someone sent her an ice cream sticker, and is earning money from each sticker sent by viewers. So the viewer is supposedly getting off on the thrill of ‘controlling’ her, and I guess is w@nking off to it with their phone inches away from their face? Even Trisha Paytas is getting in on the action (well, of course she is):

That might actually be the worst thing I have ever seen on the internet and I’ve been blogging on Sick Chirpse for a decade. Fair play to these ladies for finding an unbelievably easy way to make money at the expense of h0rny weirdos on TikTok. As for said h0rny weirdos – whatever happened to shame?
