Unbelievable. Football fans are all over social media insisting the game was fixed, and I have to say I agree with them. Although it looks so blatantly fixed that I’m almost doubting it was, because you would at least make it look a bit realistic, no? This guy literally smashed the ball to his left, nowhere near the goal, and way into the crowd. He then stood there in total disbelief at what he had just done:
Most blatant match-fixing penalty miss of all time? Or was he trying a curler that just went completely wrong? The internet seems to have made its mind up, and people who put bets down on the game are understandably furious. Oh well, if it was fixed, I hope it was worth it.
P.S. I’m sure we all noticed the first goal too where the keeper made no attempt to save the ball. Was the whole team in on it or what? Unbelievable.
