The ‘Morbius’ Post Credit Scene Has Leaked And It’s Unbelievably Bad

I think that there’s a unanimous consensus that ‘Morbius’ is going to completely suck when it’s released in a couple of days because it’s been delayed for about three years and the trailers make it look absolute pony, but I’m not sure if any of us were prepared for just how dumb the post credits scene was going to be.

The clip has leaked onto the internet and features Michael Keaton’s The Vulture from ‘Spiderman: Homecoming’ being transported to Morbius’ universe and winding up in a jail cell for some reason. He then tracks down Morbius and meets him in the middle of the desert and suggests that they team up with some of the most laughable dialogue ever committed to film:

Nice to meet you Doc. I’ve been reading about you. Not really sure how I got here but it has to do with Spider-Man, I think. I’m still figuring this place out but I still think a bunch of guys like us should team up — we could do some good.

Lol. Who the hell speaks like that? I get that he’s a super villain so maybe he speaks a bit more grandiosely or weirdly than your regular Joe, but even so that’s not a valid excuse for that dialogue. How is a professional scriptwriter being paid to come up with that?

More to the point, where the hell did The Vulture get his suit from? And why did he get transported to Morbius’ universe, that doesn’t make sense in the plotline of the movies? And why are they meeting in the desert?

I suppose I should stop thinking about all that and just enjoy it, but hopefully Morbius bombs so badly that this is the last we’ll see of either of them or Sony’s stupid Venom-verse or whatever they want to call it. Fingers crossed.

For more of the same, check out the final trailer for ‘Morbius’. Looks so crappy.
