It’s been just over a year since the first absolutely horrific allegations of sexual assault and torture came out  against Marilyn Manson and more and more have emerged since then as the weirdo goth singer slowly sunk into the background, with most of us thinking that we probably wouldn’t ever hear from him again.

How wrong we were. Turns out that Manson has been working on a lawsuit with his legal team against his ex girlfriends Evan Rachel Wood and Ilma Gorman, claiming that they launched sexual abuse allegations against him in order to destroy his career. He’s also saying that they hacked into his social media accounts and computers and impersonated an FBI agent in the process. Manson is demanding a grand jury trial in order to finally put a stop to their actions and get his career back on track.

There’s a lot to process there, but here are some of the highlights from the complaint filed by Manson’s attorney Howard King:

This action arises from the wrongful and illegal acts done in furtherance of a conspiracy by Defendant Evan Rachel Wood and her on-again, off-again romantic partner, Defendant Ashley Gore, a/k/a Illma Gore, to publicly cast Plaintiff Brian Warner, p/k/a Marilyn Manson, as a rapist and abuser—a malicious falsehood that has derailed Warner’s successful music, TV, and film career.

Gore is a grifter who understood that an organized attack on Warner — spearheaded by Wood’s own fabricated revelation of rape and abuse — could benefit them both.

With Gore’s help, Wood could be rebranded, from someone who ‘still might best be known for dating Marilyn Manson a decade ago,’ into an outspoken standard bearer for victims of domestic violence or sexual assault — thereby absolving her reputation for having a ‘wild past’ and her embarrassment for having been in a long-term relationship with Marilyn Manson.

The pair secretly recruited, coordinated, and pressured prospective accusers to emerge simultaneously with allegations of rape and abuse. They say that they created the Phoenix Act to help abused women, but were actually using it as a cover for a money making scheme against Marilyn Manson.

They impersonated an actual agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation by forging and distributing a fictitious letter from the agent … They provided checklists and scripts to prospective accusers, listing the specific alleged acts of abuse that they should claim against Warner … and They made knowingly false statements to prospective accusers (which have since been repeated by those accusers in court filings), including the defamatory claim that Warner filmed the sexual assault of a minor.

Wow. That is a lot right there isn’t it? Does Marilyn Manson actually think that all of this stuff happened and is willing to go to court to try and prove that it did? You would think that he must have some kind of evidence of all of this if he’s willing to get his attorney to actually file a lawsuit, but it sounds absolutely wild and I doubt that anyone is going to believe him considering the vast amount of women that have spoken out about his diabolical behaviour.

Unless it was all a massive conspiracy against him and it was all scripted by Wood and Gore? I can’t actually believe that’s true but if this ever goes to court then it’s going to be unbelievably crazy. What an absolute maniac to think that he can come up with all these bizarre allegations and think that he might actually win. Will be fascinating to see how this plays out.

For more of the same, check out all the allegations that have been levelled at Manson. There are a hell of a lot.
