A New Jersey firefighter named Nick Galante is going viral after turning his 40th birthday party into a divorce party; bringing his wife up on stage and revealing in front of everybody that he knows she had been cheating on him.

From the sounds of it, a few of the attendees knew about her infidelity already. Here’s how it played out on the night:

Wild stuff, especially that Godfather 2-style kiss of death before he revealed to his wife (and the room) that he knew about her cheating. It’s pretty sneaky/impressive how he managed to get the wedding ring back from her before launching into his tirade, although I’m not sure if legally she should get to keep the ring, given they were married and all. I guess that’s something the lawyers can work out during the divorce proceedings. The saddest part is she probably thought she was getting an upgraded ring when he took it off her?

The only thing that was missing was a Powerpoint presentation to provide receipts/evidence for anyone who doubted the allegations, but I guess that may have been overkill. Come to think of it, doing this so publicly and sending it viral on TikTok is probably overkill in itself. Why do people do this to themselves, and each other? It really just seems like something that should be sorted out privately, although you could say that ship had sailed given that his wife’s friends seemed to know about it already.

Well anyway, best of luck to the formerly happy couple on their future endeavors. Here’s hoping their next relationships work out better for them.
