You would think McDonald’s and weed would make a good combination, but a man who claims he was left ‘high as a kite’ after drinking an iced tea from McDonald’s isn’t very happy about it at all.

Parrish Brown, 24, from South Carolina, ordered a 10-piece box of chicken nuggets, a double cheeseburger and a sweet tea with light ice and extra lemon.

He says the staff member at the drive-thru said ‘extra lemon’ in a weird way when confirming his order. 

He immediately noticed his drink tasted weird when he started drinking it, but he was so thirsty that he just kept on going. When he eventually removed the lid – he found 3 bags of weed inside. WTF.

Parrish says:

I have never had weed a day in my life, so immediately after I started drinking it, I started to feel weird and it didn’t taste like something I recognised.

I was high and panicking and at work, so I called my dad. I didn’t want to get in trouble for this.

The weirdest part about this is that Parrish claims he got high as a kite from drinking the McDonald’s weed tea, but would that really make you high though? Not to mention he says it was all bagged up. I can believe the drink tasted like shit though, will give him that. 

Definitely the worst person to accidentally give weed to in any case. Most likely this McDonald’s employee was a drug dealer and ‘extra lemon’ is code for 3 bags of weed? If so that was just a mix-up waiting to happen really wasn’t it?

Police are involved and McDonald’s is ‘fully cooperating’.

Probably wouldn’t be a problem over in Colorado – McDonald’s restaurants have marijuana-friendly smoking sections there.
