It seems like every single female celebrity who has ever had any kind of interaction with Russell Brand is coming out of the woodwork to share their experience, and today it’s the turn of Lorraine Kelly talking about the time she sat next to Brand on The Graham Norton Show.

The clip is taken from 2007, and features Brand in classic randy lothario mode:

Speaking about the incident, Kelly said:

“I normally got the charming Russell, the flirty Russell. Of course it’s a lot different. I’m a lot older. I’ve been doing this a long, long time. And I’d like to think there was a little tiny bit of respect there, maybe.

Now look, that’s uncomfortable to watch right now. It absolutely is. Obviously, for the record, I was not wearing suspenders, at all. Everybody was laughing. I was laughing.”

When asked how she felt at the time, Kelly added:

“Well it’s difficult. Looking back on it now, I probably would’ve said something. But it’s an entertainment show. That was his schtick.”

Well, I guess that’s a fair take on it. Kelly basically acknowledges that it was funny at the time and a part of Brand’s act, but it’s impossible not to see it through a different lens now that all these allegations have come out, whether they end up being true or not. Interesting revelation that she wasn’t wearing suspenders at all though? Fair play to her for going along with it and not ruining the bit. What a pro!

Earlier, Vanessa Feltz also shared an old clip where Brand made ‘crude comments’ about her and her daughters. Anyone else?
