Keir Starmer’s Calls With Donald Trump Mocked In The Launch Of Saturday Night Live UK

The launch of Saturday Night Live UK last night featured a political “cold open” that mocked Keir Starmer’s nervous attempts to handle phone calls with Donald Trump.

Starmer, played George Fouracres, is depicted as a quivering and cowardly leader attempting to break the news to Donald Trump that the UK doesn’t want to join the war in Iran…

Well, I guess that’s accurate enough. Starmer was actually showing a bit of backbone for once by initially refusing to get involved in the war, but ultimately folded by providing RAF bases for Trump’s military and thus involving us in the conflict after all. I wonder what changed his mind?

In any case, being dragged by your own country and comedians for bowing to Donald Trump is not a good look. When will Britain finally elect a leader who has some balls?
