After sixteen years of holding back, Peter Andre has finally had enough and put out a statement on Instagram the other night criticising ex-wife Katie Price for her behaviour and comments.

For the uninitiated, Peter Andre & Katie Price met I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here in 2004 and went on to have two children together – Princess, 18, and Junior, 20 – before separating in 2009.

The Mysterious Girl legend put out his text against a black background on IG – so you know it’s serious:

Sounds like the guy was keeping schtum in order not to humiliate his kids by throwing their mum under the bus, but he’s simply had enough because she keeps running her mouth and trying to start drama. That doesn’t sound like Katie Price, does it?

Price has now responded to the statement via her representatives, who told Metro:

‘Kate is in a much better and clear headspace and is at peace with the situation, this was in the past and she doesn’t feel the need to bring up tit for tat comments, but more importantly she’s dealing with this the right way and it’s now in her lawyer’s hands.

‘Kate will no longer be gaslighted and bullied as she once was.’

Worded like a true ‘representative’ for Katie Price.

Price had apparently reached out to Peter Andre recently as she was unhappy with being ‘banned’ from appearing in her daughter’s new TV show.

Price said on her podcast: “There’s no reason why both parents just can’t be there to support her. Now this isn’t about me. I have to clarify this.

“I don’t care that I’m not in Princess’ show.

“I don’t need to raise my profile by being on Princess’ show, I do enough stuff.”

Hmm, so then what’s the issue?

Probably doesn’t help that in the show itself, titled The Princess Diaries, her daughter speaks about watching her mother fall into a ‘dark’ place following her 2018 split from Kieran Hayler.

Princess said: “I wish I could have had a happier childhood, I had so much on my plate at such a young age and had things at the back of my mind.”

“My mum and Kieran split up when I was 10 years old, we were close to him. He was in our lives for five years. He did a lot of stuff and when they split everything went downhill.”

 “I’m not healed or fully recovered from it but mum has fixed herself compared to how she was back then.”

Well, I guess Katie Price got what she wanted in the end – some more drama to deal with. Knew she’d crack him in the end! Good luck, Pete.
