For the past few days the internet has been going down the rabbit hole surrounding Jered Threatin and his band Threatin, who seemingly faked their status as rock gods and managed to book a European tour which they spent playing to literally nobody every night.

After we posted a very detailed analysis of Threatin’s actions and the story was picked up by everyone from the BBC to The Guardian, Threatin has been nowhere to be seen. He deleted his social media accounts and cancelled his remaining shows alongside rumours that his touring drummer and guitarist had quit mid tour.

With literally everyone talking about him, nobody could actually talk to him as he appeared to go completely off the grid and withdraw into himself. Until today that is, where it seems like all his social media accounts have been reactivated and are teasing his ‘fake’ official statement tomorrow:

Cool to see he’s still using those crappy fonts that he used to make his fake crappy website (s). Really can’t wait to see what he’s going to come up with on this and how he’s gonna try and play it off because it really could be the difference between him being remembered as a pathetic meme for the rest of the time or perhaps actually achieving his dreams of becoming a famous rock and roll star. Tomorrow can’t come soon enough if you ask me.

If you missed all of this Threatin stuff to begin with then click here. Really is the story of the year.
