Whether you prefer the English or the American version of The Office, you literally can’t deny that the American one – at least in the first few seasons – is up there with some of the best in terms of half hour sitcoms, as its popularity continues to increase several years after its final episode was broadcast.

So obviously, what The American Office needed was a weekly podcast from two of its stars where they watch old episodes and talk about what it was like to make them at the time. The two stars in question are real life BFFs Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey (Pam and Angela) and the podcast is going to be called Office Girls and it will be available from October 16th wherever you usually get your podcasts from.

To be honest, if you’re a fan of The Office – and why wouldn’t you be? It’s completely sick – then there’s no way that you’re not going to enjoy this. I was initially sceptical of podcasts where people just talk about what they did and behind the scenes experiences, but they’re almost invariably fascinating and I doubt this one will be any different. Can’t wait.
