The Panenka penalty is usually associated with sickhead players like Andrea Pirlo, Zinedine Zidane and Helder Postiga (?) but a new name has emerged that will likely be synonymous with them for a very long time to come.
His name is Mark O’Brien and he plays over in Ireland for an amateur side called Sword Celtic. Unfortunately for him he’s going to be synonymous with them because he took an extraordinarily bad one, which could actually be the worst one ever taken. The ball barely gets 20 cm off the ground and bobbles well in front of the keeper and pretty much straight into his arms and it’s probably the easiest save he’ll ever have to make. Smooth moves Mark.
