Gregg Wallace continues to embarrass himself by making up excuses for his sexual misconduct over the years – this time claiming that he himself was ‘groped’ while working on Masterchef.

Wallace, 60, was officially sacked by the BBC last month following an investigation which upheld 45 allegations against him, including a case of ‘unwelcome physical contact’.

In an interview with The Sun, Wallace has now claimed that he faced sexual harassment from women ‘on a regular basis’ and criticised the BBC over their ‘complaints procedure’. Can you believe this guy?

He said: ‘The whole complaints procedure needs to be readdressed – there are huge problems with it as things stand. Being on MasterChef was brilliant but I had so many bad experiences on that show too.

‘Had I wanted to raise any complaints, I’d have had the decency to speak to that person directly. Privately, not publicly. My God, can you imagine the complaints I could have made? Have you got any idea of the sexual references made to me on a daily basis?

‘How many times I’ve been touched by women wanting a selfie? How many times I’ve been groped? How many times suggestive comments have been made to me? How many female contestants have said inappropriate things on MasterChef?’

Wallace also claimed that the thought of complaining didn’t even ‘cross my mind’, noting that he wasn’t suggesting that groping was ‘right’, but it was ‘happening to me on a regular basis.’

He also said claimed that he was ‘shouted at and bullied’. He’s the real victim here!

Wallace also used the interview to specifically address an accusation that he walked around the set of Masterchef naked with a sock on his penis.

He explained: ‘I was getting changed to go to a black-tie event, a charity event. I put my bow tie on and my shirt. It’s only them outside the door.

‘I put the sock on, opened the door, went, “Wahey!” and shut the door again. The people interviewed were either amused or bemused. Nobody was distressed.’

I’m not a groper. People think I’ve been taking my trousers down and exposing myself – I am not a flasher.’

I guess that could be quite funny in isolation, but when there are dozens more accusations against you citing more blatant examples of sexual misconduct, it’s not really a great look.

At this point, he really should just stop whinging and making excuses and have the good sense to just disappear for a bit. He could very easily turn up on Celebrity Big Brother or I’m A Celebrity or whatever down the line once this all dies down a little bit. Maybe he could start a YouTube channel, or convince GB News to start a cooking segment that he can host?

Then again, we can’t really blame him for how he’s handling the situation or indeed for the sexual misconduct itself. He has autism, didn’t you hear?
