Two Frontier Airlines workers have kissed their jobs goodbye after mocking a man for missing his flight after they refused to check him in from Raleigh-Durham International Airport in North Carolina to Boston, MA.

For context: the man arrived at the airport around 50 minutes before his flight but was unable to check in as he had missed a 60-minute pre-departure window (something he was unaware of). He was then told that he needed to pay a $25 fee to check in. As he went to pay the fee, he said: “I’m never flying this s***ty airline again”… and that’s when things started to go south:

Man: “I paid for a ticket.”

The most painful part of the interaction is that the Frontier Airlines worker really thinks she’s won the argument because she keeps repeating the same thing 20x in a row. The way her colleague is laughing and joining in too is just unbelievable. How do two such immature, unprofessional people get this job in the first place?

OK, you could say the guy is an idiot for checking in 50 minutes before his flight (who does that?) and being rude to the girls for charging him a late check-in fee, but these girls have still got to keep it professional and do their jobs.

Unfortunately for them, they won’t get the chance to because Frontier Airlines has now sacked both workers after the clip went viral and humiliated their company. Frontier Airlines also reimbursed the man, both for the original flight and for the replacement one he had to book after being refused check in. Fair enough really.
