The ‘Fast And The Furious’ franchise is somehow one of the biggest movie franchises of all time and I bet that a whole bunch of people were looking forward to the latest instalment because you know, family and explosions and some other dumb shit.

With that in mind, a lot of people are going to be disappointed that ‘Fast And Furious 9’ has been delayed for a whole entire year due to the Coronavirus epidemic that is currently engulfing the world. The movie was scheduled to come out this Easter but it’s now going to be opening on April 2nd in North America, with similar release dates for the rest of the world as well.

Here’s the official statement:

Damn. That’s gonna be a big blow for all the petrol heads out there – how are they gonna fill their time over the Easter holidays now? I guess they’ll probably be on lockdown so maybe they can stream all the previous movies to get ready or something. That’s real family.

Anyway, this could probably have all been avoided if Vin Diesel had been a bit more careful when he offered Paul Walker a drink all those years ago (wait until the end)?

Really coming back to bite him in the ass isn’t it? Should have just handed him a Heineken or a Sol or something. Would have saved us all, idiot.

For more of the same, check out ‘The Simpsons’ predicting that Tom Hanks would get Coronavirus. Always one step ahead.
