By now I’m sure you’ve all seen the video of the Dallas Stars fan who was punched in the face after calling someone’s dad the N-word.

Obviously this chap had a pretty terrible night, but it gets even worse when you see how well the night started for him and how it went so fast downhill after that:

Aww, how chuffed did he look there? Selected by a TV crew to show off his mullet as the broadcast headed into a commercial break. Dude was absolutely beaming with happiness! Probably was getting texts and calls from his buddies who watched the whole thing live. Only to then end up on the receiving end of a ferocious middle-aged punch to the face moments later.

If only he’d kept that N-word to himself, or just avoided the confrontation altogether, he would have probably had one of the best nights of his life. Not only was his face on TV, but his team ended up winning. He and his girlfriend/sister/cousin could have then got a McDonald’s on the way home and who knows what else to cap off the perfect day. Instead he ends up going viral for being someone’s racist, mulleted stepson who got punched in the face. You live and you learn.
