This Daft Punk/Beastie Boys Mashup Album Is The Best Thing That Happened In 2016

OK, so we’ve mentioned this enough times already, but I think we’re within our rights to say it one more time – 2016 has been an absolute shitter of a year. Brexit, Donald Trump, race wars, terrorist attacks, migrants dying on their trips over to Europe. It’s been one depressing event after another.

However, we can at least try to remember the few good things that happened, one of those being this recent Daft Punk/Beastie Boys mashup album. An artist named Coins has been releasing Daft Punk/Beastie Boys mashups since 2014, but following the success of the tracks, he’s now put eight of the best into a new album called ‘Daft Science’.

I’m definitely going to be blasting these all afternoon – it certainly makes Monday a little less depressing.
