Everyone loves Rammstein right? Not because they make good music obviously, but you’ve gotta admit it’s pretty impressive that a German metal band can become world famous when they’re singing in German, I don’t know anyone else that has been able to achieve that. Think about it, their metal and riffs are so bonecrushing that it doesn’t even matter what language they’re singing in. I guess the fact that they dress up like idiots probably helps too. You know, metalheads seem to be into that shit.

Anyway, rather than seeing six guys in weird ass goth gear or full body paint playing these stupid german industrial metal songs, it’s kinda weird when you see a bunch of cute kids playing them, which probably explains why this video went viral yesterday. I think the kids are Romanian (more proof of Rammstein’s universal appeal) but I’m not sure. Their band goes by the bizarre name of Children Medieval Band and consists of Stefan (10) on guitar and vocals and his two sisters Olga (8) and Cornelia (5) on keyboards and drums respectively. They’re all actually pretty good.

It’s kind of weird watching this because you can’t decide if it’s cute or horrific. How the hell have these kids even heard Rammstein at their age? Why aren’t they listening to Carly Rae Jepsen or something like that? It’s crazy. I didn’t even pick up my first punk record until I was about 14, now these kids are playing in a metal band before they even have pubes.
