I have never been to China and I’m not sure if I ever will. It seems like they’re destined to be the world’s next superpower though because you know, they can control the weather and stuff. This might worry me if I wasn’t such an easy going guy, OR if I hadn’t seen this video which shares a Chinese military training exercise that I guess the Chinese army has been working on recently.

It basically involves six Chinese soldiers standing around a hole and throwing a live grenade to each other like in a game of hot potato or something, only with a live grenade. Yeah, that’s right, A LIVE GRENADE. Although this might imply that the Chinese army is fearless, it makes me feel more like they’re just stupid.

The drill ends when one of the Chinese officers decides that the grenade is about to go off and that it’s probably a good idea to get rid of it and throws it down this hole that they’ve all been standing around the whole time. Then, all of the officers who have been involved turn and do a synchronised dive onto the floor to avoid getting blown to smithereens. The grenade goes off in the hole too and looks as though it made quite a big bang.

It kind of makes you wonder what the hell would have happened to those Chinese officers if one of them had dropped the grenade? And if this is the kind of exercise that the Chinese army regular employs to train its troops, SURELY one of them must have dropped a grenade by now? BOOM.
