Incredible moment at the Coldplay concert in Boston the other night as the band accidentally exposed an affair between Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and his HR Chief Kristin Cabot by blasting their mugs on the big screen.
The pair immediately freaked out and rushed to cover their faces in horror, prompting Chris Martin to quip: “Oh what… either they’re having an affair or they’re very shy.” How right he was…

The footage is now spreading like wildfire on social media. Andy Byron is currently the top search on Google and his LinkedIn profile is the most popular on the site. The internet has uncovered that Byron is married with two kids, and Cabot is in a committed relationship (or is supposed to be, anyway). Not great!
Byron’s wife Kerrigan has since removed his last name from her Facebook profile after the footage went viral:
And to think, if they had just stood there instead of diving out of the way of the camera, nobody would have found out. It’s not like their other halves are sitting at home looking up jumbotron footage from the Coldplay concert, is it? They literally had the guiltiest reaction possible which resulted in them going viral and now enduring unreal levels of humiliation and ridicule, not to mention for their families also (Byron in particular).
You also can’t help but think that there’s a fair amount of employees at this company who hate both these people with a passion and are having the best day of their lives right now. Apparently the lady next to them in the clip is the VP of HR, and even she looks like she’s enjoying it:

All jokes aside, this is a terrible way to find out that your husband is having an affair, so let’s all have a moment of silence for Kerrigan Byron this morning. Surely she could take him to the cleaners now if she chooses to go down the divorce route. If the company is worth what Fortune says it is, she’s in for a hell of a pay day. Get that bag, girl!
