In case you missed it, Caitlyn Jenner received the prestigious Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the ESPY Awards the other night, and rightfully so considering the guts it took to take her story public and all the good it’s done for LGBT acceptance heading into the future.
That wasn’t all people were talking about on the night though; everyone wanted to know who the mystery woman accompanying Caitlyn on the night was. Well wonder no more — her name is Candis Cayne and she’s also transgender. In fact she was the first transgender woman to play a transgender character on TV (with William Baldwin in ‘Dirty Sexy Money’).
