Watching monster trucks/demolition derby cars crash into and destroy one another can be fun, but how about throwing a 70-foot-tall robot that will pick the cars up and juggle them into the mix?
The ‘BugJuggler’ is the brainchild of former NASA engineer Dan Grannet, who’s trying to raise $2.3 million to turn his car-juggling vision into reality.
The robot would be powered by a diesel engine and controlled by an operator using a haptic interface where his arm movements would control how the BugJuggler moves.
It sounds pretty insane and as such we hope it works – but until then you can find out more here.
