There have been a whole load of horrendous wedding stories on this website over the years, but I don’t think anyone can top this one, the punchline of which you’ll be fully aware of after reading the headline to the article.

The tale came from ‘The Unfiltered Bride’ podcast where wedding planner Georgie Mitchell was talking to co-host Beth about the story that she had apparently been told by two separate makeup artists. Here’s what she had to say about it:

On two occasions I’ve been told this story, I was not at this wedding, but on two occasions I’ve been told this, both by makeup artists.

We’ll call her Jenny. Jenny says to me, ‘I did a wedding the other day and you’ll never guess what happened.’

She said the bride needed to go to the toilet just before the ceremony – this is like, pre-ceremony.

And she walked into the toilet, and what she saw is enough to end a wedding.

He was being breastfed by his mum.

She’s obviously been doing it continuously to get to that point.

Everybody is in the room waiting!

The wedding somehow still went ahead, but you definitely wouldn’t kiss the groom…

Errr my reaction to that is pretty much the same as Beth’s in the video above…..what the heck? I guess maybe you might think something like would be more understandable if you were in rural Alabama or Kentucky or somewhere like that, but it sounds as if it happened in this country so you kinda have to disregard the inbreeding angle. Unless maybe it was in the Welsh valleys or somewhere similar?

Anyway, wish I knew more about it to be honest, like where it went down, how the woman could actually go through with the wedding and what the hell happened afterwards as well? Really does seem like the start of something rather than the end – although I wouldn’t be surprised if the marriage was over soon afterwards and they were just keeping up appearances on the big day. Someone out there must know something?
