Uncomfortable scenes on the latest episode of ‘Below Deck’ as producers had to literally step in to stop bosun Luke Jones from crawling naked into bed with co-star Margot Sisson, who was drunk and asleep.
Here’s how the situation played out on TV:

After the clip cuts out, Aesha went to check on Margot, who confirmed that she was asleep and ‘didn’t invite that at all’, and was freaked out at discovering that Luke was naked when he got into bed with her.
The head of the interior team then discussed what had happened with Captain Jason Chambers:
‘Basically, we came home tonight and I felt like Luke was kind of wanting to take advantage of Margot’s drunkness a little bit. She was pretty out of it. Then, next thing I know, the power goes out and Luke is running out of Margot’s bed naked. She was completely unconscious.
Now Luke is so freaked out that he got caught that he’s locked himself in his room. It’s so f**king wrong.’
Luke was fired from the show the next day, which I guess is the only thing you can do at that point. He was obviously pretty smashed himself but that’s no excuse to be sneaking uninvited into a woman’s bed without her consent, especially as he did so during a power cut which makes it extra creepy. Who knows – in his mind she might’ve been gagging for it, but she seemed pretty shocked about the whole thing when being told about it afterwards.
Anyway, respect to the captain and producers for how they dealt with it. They potentially rescued Margot from a very serious situation and also prevented Luke from doing something he would have regretted and paid for massively.
Pretty wild that anyone would be dumb enough to pull a stunt like this on a reality TV show in 2023, but just goes to show the crew need to be on their toes regardless.
