There’s nothing really worse than a long train journey when you’re hungry, because all the food on trains always sucks and is way overpriced and by the time you get to wherever you’re going the options probably aren’t much better and you’re not even hungry anymore. It really is one of the worst situations you could ever find yourself in and there isn’t a lot you can do to get yourself out of it.

A dubstep DJ known as DJ Artwork found himself in this situation though and had an absolute brainwave to get himself out of it. He decided that enough was enough and that he was going to order a Domino’s Pizza to the station as the train he was on was passing through.
Of course, he decided to live tweet his experience – here’s how it went down:
What idiot would get onboard a five hour train journey without checking if it has a bar car and without getting any food or drink before …

Would anyone in the train line between glasgow and Sheffield go to the shop for me and get me a few bits and meet me on a platform?

I'm going to try and get a pizza delivered to a train as it pulls in to a station. Bit of research needed

Well, maybe that’s a bit excessive but you’ve got to admit that it is completely badass to order a pizza to a train as it’s pulling into the station and for it to actually work. I don’t think I’ve ever heard of anyone even having the balls to even try it, let alone it actually working. Absolute mad respect to this guy.
Hopefully more people will try it now and it can become a more socially acceptable/widely used practice. Maybe Domino’s could even add it to their menus, like a £2 extra surcharge for the train delivery fee. That would be a sick idea, right?
