Despite being a somewhat risque pastime, the popularity of dogging has soared in recent years thanks to the internet, but it turns out that it isn’t all fun and games and there’s actually a strict set of rules that you need to abide by if you want to join in the fun.

The founder of what has affectionally been come to known as the dogging code has revealed that he initially felt compelled to write it due to the fact that he had a whole load of first time nerves himself and felt it would have been a lot better if he knew exactly what was expected of him:

Myself and my wife used to just drive to local hotspots and look around, observing and trying to get a feel for the etiquette.

It’s why in the end we created this page.

Real basic stuff but the kind of stuff that if you don’t know about can get you kicked out of a meet-up.

Makes a lot of sense to be fair to the guy – and now without further ado are the laws that you’ve all been waiting for:

Dogging

1. Make sure you are clean

‘A dirty appearance and smell is a turn-off, so if you plan on joining in with a couple, make yourself presentable’

2. Flash those lights

‘If you want another couple to follow you to a more secluded spot then flash your headlights once and drive to where you want to be. If they are interested then they will follow.

‘If you want your audience to touch and interact with you then roll down your window or open the car doors.’

 3. Interior lights

‘A flash of the interior light means they want to be watched.

‘A rolled down window is an invitation to get closer and maybe touch.

‘But make sure the couple is actually dogging; they may have just dropped the keys on the floorboard or need fresh air.’

4. Keep your distance until invited

‘Don’t join in unless the couple asks you to.’

5. Single guys beware

‘Be appreciative but respectful. “Get your t*** out” is not the way to behave.’

6. Know where you’re going

‘Use a database to find the action, but be warned, sometimes the fun doesn’t start on time’

Seems simple enough right? But yeah, as I’m sure you’ve heard about (know), it’s easy enough to mess these things up so this should be pretty much invaluable now. Thanks a lot for sharing it, dogging dude.
