The US border is no joke – despite Donald Trump’s attempts to build a wall to secure it for good – and it seems like Mexican cartels are resorting to increasingly novel ways to try and get their products into America.

Case in point: this giant bazooka, that was confiscated in the town of Agua Prieta along with 1800 pounds of weed and 2000 rounds of ammunition. Seems pretty clear what they were trying to do – namely fire it over the border into the neighbouring town of Douglas, Arizona.
Police were tipped off about the bazooka and the unusual drug transportation method when border security guards saw a 100 pound bushel of weed flying over the border when they were reviewing security footage. No, you couldn’t make it up.
Whilst unorthodox, it seems as if the method was pretty successful and this is probably a big win for the Mexican police. As for the cartels, they’ll probably have to source another giant bazooka from somewhere to keep on going with this. No idea where they’re going to find that – I’m sure they’ll figure it out though. They always do.
