Cody Rhodes © vs. Big Show (Intercontinental title match)
I hate Big Show. The guy always ends up in matches with rising stars and inevitably ends up crushing them; I’m hoping this match is the exception to this rule. Rhodes has held the IC belt for so long, it actually will mean something when someone beats him and Show is at a point in his career where he doesn’t need a title. Originally Show was slated to fight Shaquille O Neal but that appears to have fallen through, which is a real shame. So, the story is Cody has been going out on TV and embarrassing Big Show by pointing out just how bad his Mania record is. This doesn’t bode well for Cody at all, as the only logical conclusion is Show embarrasses Cody and destroys him in short order. One of those rare instances where I hope I’m wrong!
