Uh Oh, on the release of Gorillaz “Stylo” ensured Eddy Grant was not a happy chappy. Upon hearing the track he claimed Albarn had ripped off his 1981 track stating he must have heard it as it had been a staple of many a club night. What made Eddy Grant’s shit itch further was that his publishing company had already drafted in musicologist to determine as to whether the song was similar or not, but Mr Grant still received no phone call. Tut tut.
