Piers Morgan Says He’s Glad He Never Apologised To Meghan Markle After Jeremy Clarkson Response

Jeremy Clarkson posted one of the most disingenuous apologies to anyone ever this week when he realised that all of his TV shows were going to get cancelled because of his weird rant against her, but strangely enough a bunch of people then called him a pussy for not standing by his own convictions.

Of course, now Piers Morgan has decided to get involved with the debate because as we all know he’s pretty much Meghan Markle’s number one fan. Predictably he couldn’t help but laud it over rival Clarkson by saying he was glad that he never apologised to her because he knew that it wouldn’t have meant anything to them anyway. What a hero that guy is for standing by his weird hatred of someone he doesn’t even know.

Anyway, here’s what he had to say on his show ‘Piers Morgan:Uncensored’ last night:

I believe she lies. And secondly, if I did apologise what do you think would happen?

They wouldn’t accept it. She wouldn’t accept it. She would just use it as an excuse to go even harder. It’s what they do.

They are the victims, always. Perennial victims. So I refused and I left and I’m very happy about that otherwise I wouldn’t be here doing the show if I hadn’t done that.

Yeah I don’t think that just because someone says that they’re sorry means that you have to 100% accept it? Especially when it’s as bad an apology as Clarkson’s that clearly doesn’t have an ounce of sincerity in it. By Morgan’s only logic, Harry and Meghan could just say they don’t believe him anyway!?

I suppose that brings open a bigger debate about whether you always have to accept an apology when it’s presented to you, but as annoying as Meghan and Harry can be I actually think their response to Clarkson here is pretty on the money. As for Morgan, who cares? This isn’t anything to do with him once again and the guy should probably just give it a rest at this point. Of course he won’t though.

However, I do think if Meghan and Harry really genuinely wanted to be left alone or whatever like they said, then maybe they should just stop talking themselves? Wouldn’t be that difficult to just fade away and not be the centre of attention by releasing tell all autobiographies would it? Just an idea.

For more of the same, check out when Piers Morgan got absolutely decimated on live TV. Great moment.
