These days, when celebrity females turn 18, it’s pretty standard protocol to get your nipples/butt out on Instagram. I guess it’s their way of telling the world that they’re no longer an innocent child and the only way to do this is to get naked on social media.

Paris Jackson, who is now 19, is the latest teen to make it into the NSFW territory by posting a topless picture of herself online. Although she did a good job of covering up her nipples with some ladybird emojis, it appears that the picture did not go down too well with her fans, who thought that the picture was a little too risqué. If they thought that was bad, they ought to see some of the other pics out there.

Clearly Paris was having none of it, as she decided to react to the online haters by posting… another topless photo along with an explanatory caption:

She makes a lot of good points in that statement, but also quite a few naïve ones. I’m not sure posting a picture of yourself with ladybird emojis quite represents your “return to mama gaia”. Still, each to their own I guess – at least she’s not harming anyone.
